Skills USA is a national nonprofit organization that helps students who are preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations. The club has a Regional Competition every February and a State Competition in March where students compete in their different trades. SKILLS USA Club is a partnership of students, teachers and industry, working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. It is organized to let students explore a variety of different hands-on competitions to test their skills in the field of automotive technology, Firefighting, Aviation Maintenance, etc. Students can compete for scholarships ranging from $500 – $20,000 in the career competition category.
