Tri-M Music Honor Society


Tri-M Music Honor Society is a nationally sanctioned and recognized high school honor society. The Providence High School Chapter of Tri-M was founded in the fall of 2007. Currently, the chapter includes over 100 members in band, chorus and orchestra. The society serves to promote musical involvement in the school and community and brings recognition to students who excel in their public school musical endeavors.

-Only available to Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors
-A minimum 3.25 GPA (weighted)
-Enrollment in band, chorus or/and orchestra
-No less than a grade of “A” in all music performance courses (excludes Music Theory I, Music Theory II and AP Music Theory courses) from the previous school year
-No less than a “2” in conduct from ANY teacher during the previous school year
-Other requirements as indicated on the application form
